1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of www.suncoastsauceworks.com and any purchase you make from us, online or in person. By using the site, placing an order online, or buying from us at a farmers market or event, you agree to these Terms, our Returns and Refunds Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or buy from us.

2. Who we are

The site is operated by Suncoast Sauceworks, LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Venice, Florida ("Suncoast Sauceworks," "we," "us"). You can reach us at info@suncoastsauceworks.com.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create an account, place an order or subscribe to our newsletter. If you create an account, keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it.

4. Our products

Our sauces are made for Suncoast Sauceworks by an established, FDA-registered manufacturing facility. Flavor descriptions, heat ratings and photos on the site are guides. Heat is personal, and color and taste can vary slightly from batch to batch. The label on the bottle you receive is the authoritative source for ingredients, allergens, nutrition and storage.

5. Allergens and safe use

Read the label before use, especially if you have a food allergy or sensitivity. Contact us before ordering if you need information the label does not provide. Our sauces contain chili peppers and can irritate eyes and skin; keep them away from children and wash your hands after handling. Follow the label's storage directions once a bottle is opened.

6. Orders

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it and send a shipping confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, or limit quantities, for reasons including stock, a pricing or listing error, suspected fraud, or a shipping address we cannot serve. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund the full amount.

7. Prices and payment

Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include shipping or applicable taxes, which are shown at checkout. Online prices may differ from prices at farmers markets and events. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card number. If a price is listed in error, we may cancel the order or contact you to confirm the correct price before shipping.

8. Shipping

We ship to addresses in the contiguous United States using the shipping carrier we select for each order. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is delivered to the shipping address you provide. If an order arrives broken or damaged, email info@suncoastsauceworks.com within seven (7) days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will replace the damaged items or refund them.

9. Returns and refunds

Returns, replacements and refunds are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy, posted at www.suncoastsauceworks.com/returns, which is part of these Terms.

10. Purchases at markets and events

These Terms also apply when you buy from us at a farmers market or event, except the sections on accounts and shipping. Prices at our stand are posted there and may differ from online prices. Any fee for credit card payments is posted at the stand before you pay and does not apply to debit cards.

If a bottle you bought at a market is damaged or has a quality problem, contact us within seven (7) days with your paper receipt or the email receipt from our point-of-sale system, and we will replace or refund it. Free samples are a courtesy; ask to see the bottle label for ingredients and allergens before you taste.

11. The Inner Gear (newsletter) and promotions

If you sign up for The Inner Gear (newsletter), we will email you market dates, product news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Promotions and discount codes are subject to the terms stated with them, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may end without notice.

12. Our names, logo and content

The Suncoast Sauceworks name and logo, our product names, label designs, photos and site text belong to Suncoast Sauceworks. You may not copy or use them without our written permission, except to share links to our site or to post about our products for personal, non-commercial purposes.

13. Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, interfere with its operation, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or place orders for resale without our written agreement.

14. Third-party services

Our website, online store and payments run on third-party platforms. Links to other websites, including social media, are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services, which are governed by their own terms.

15. Disclaimer

Except as stated in these Terms, the site and our products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Florida or federal law that cannot be waived.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Suncoast Sauceworks is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. These limits do not apply where the law prohibits them, including for injury caused by our negligence.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sarasota County, Florida, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes apply to orders placed after the update.
