Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Suncoast Sauceworks, LLC collects through www.suncoastsauceworks.com, at our market stands, and through our newsletter, and how we use it. We collect what we need to fill orders and stay in touch, and we do not sell personal information.

1. Information you give us

Orders: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and what you bought.
Account: your login email and order history, if you create an account.
Newsletter: your email address and, if you provide it, your name, whether you sign up on the site or at our market stand.
Messages: anything you send through our contact form, by email or on social media.

Card payments, online and at our market stands, are handled by a third-party payment processor. We see the card type, the last four digits and the payment status; we never receive or store your full card number.

2. Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our e-commerce platform records basic technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived. It uses cookies to keep your cart and login working and to remember your preferences.

3. How we use it

To process, ship and support your orders, including refunds and replacements.
To send order and shipping confirmations.
To send the newsletter, if you subscribed.
To answer your questions and requests.
To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only what each needs:

Our e-commerce platform: hosts our website, store, point-of-sale system and email.
Our payment processor: processes card payments.
Shipping Carriers: we give them your name, shipping address and, where needed, your phone number in order to deliver your order.
Our accountant or legal advisers, when needed.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or those of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. The Inner Gear (newsletter)

We email subscribers about market dates, products and offers, about once a month. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop order and shipping emails.

6. Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The cart and checkout may not work without them.

7. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, generally seven (7) years. We keep your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe, and other information only as long as we need it for the purposes above.

8. Security

We use the security protections built into our e-commerce platform and payment processor, and we limit access to customer information to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing info@suncoastsauceworks.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may keep records the law requires us to keep, such as order and tax records. We honor these requests from any customer, regardless of the state you live in.

10. Children

The site, our store and our newsletter are intended for adults and are not designed for or directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, or you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will post a notice on the site.
